BBQ Guys Stainless Steel Tabletop Electric Grill

I grill several times a week, and have used gas, charcoal, and electric through the years. I\'ve been using this model for a year. Denver laws only allow electric or the small gas can type on balconies. This is the best solution I\'ve found for balcony grilling, and I\'m very happy with it. My approach was to use the ceramic briquettes under the electric heating unit, and that causes more smoke -- more like the gas grills I\'ve used and liked for years. It\'s very easy to use, and once I got used to the timing -- everything takes longer to cook -- I love it. Best results for chicken, pork, fish, and veggies, which I cook on high with the lid down. I wish it got hotter for steaks, but the steaks are still OK. I generally prop the lid open 1 inch for steaks to keep them from baking. I\'ve never tried to clean it, as I don\'t mind it accumulating black stuff on the inside (it was best after a period of \"breaking in\") and a tan/bronze color on the outside. What the heck. It\'s a barbeque! :-) Bottom line -- I\'m very happy with it, and recommend as the best solution for condo/apt balconies.
